Studio Diversity Program Interview Prep
Any director or writer trying to break into television is painfully aware that one of the only ways to get in is through studio diversity programs. You spend hours (if not days) crafting the perfect application responses and most of the time you never even get the call. When you do get the call for an interview it’s like winning the lottery, so you better be prepared!
Carole Kirschner, CBS & WGA Program Director and a Career Coach, will conduct mock inter-views live for our members. She’ll give invaluable feedback that everyone who attends will benefit from. And of course, we’ll finish the hour off with a q&a so you can ask her all your burning questions.

- Carole Kirschner
Carole started in Hollywood as a stand-up comic. She loved it but realized it wasn’t a gig for the long run. So she moved to the other side of the desk as an assistant and worked my way up to become a senior level creative television executive. Carole was at CBS Comedy and then hired as Vice President of Steven Spielberg’s first Amblin Television. During that time, she heard more than 3,000 pitches, bought hundreds of scripts, and was involved in developing dozens of television series. In all, she’s probably read about 5,000 scripts.
